SendMe Mobile is a mobile entertainment subscription service that provided trivia, ringtones, wallpapers, games and sweepstakes for cell phones. SendMe Mobile’s backers include True Ventures, Spark Capital, Amicus, GrandBanks Capital, Vince Broady, the founder of Gamespot.com, and Scott Kurnit, founder of About.com. SendMe Mobile was founded in 2006 by Russell Klein, Markus Mullarkey, and Tom Santosusso. SendMe Mobile was headquartered in the SOMA district of San Francisco, California. == Content & Distribution == SendMe Mobile’s major licensing deals were with Universal Music, Warner Music, Mobile Streams, Moderati, EMI, IODA, and The Orchard, though SendMe Mobile also works with other companies that provide ringtones to the site. Additionally, cell phone wallpapers are provided by a list of companies that includes Paramount Pictures, Webshots, E! Entertainment, and Collegiate Licensing. Several of the companies that provide mobile games are Sony Pictures, CBS Mobile Games and Iplay. SendMe Mobile is a member of the Mobile Marketing Association, is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and currently has a B rating.
